Attack Non-Starters, Ignore The Solid Arguments
Many today are still attacking the concept of dispensations and not the biblical arguments of dispensationalists. Those who attack dispensationalism by only referencing one or two writers of the 1800s are just dishonest at this point. They should know better. Although hundreds and maybe thousands of pastors and teachers before JN Darby are now clearly uncovered as holding premillennial and even rapture positions, critics refuse to acknowledge or actually wrestle with their writings. There are also thousands of dispensational teachers in the last one hundred years that critics want to ignore. No, I am not talking about modern day popular books and movies (another favorite line of attack). I am speaking of true exegetical commentaries, theological journals and studies that are ignored by many who malign dispensationalism without ever addressing the biblical and textual exposition of current modern day writers. They act is if they can just poison the well with some kind of sweeping statement which they think invalidates all the biblical writings of modern teachers. I have listed a sampling below. It is sad that people fall for this kind of illogical argument.
Some dispensational authors to consider are listed below in no particular order.
Homer A Kent
Alva J McClain
Merrill Tenney
Robert Thomas
Harold Willmington
Roland McCune
Larry Oats
John Walvoord
J. Dwight Pentecost
Charles Ryrie

These are just a few off the top of my memory who would support dispensationalism, although with various nuances.
